Summary

The project is a system of sites (online stores) connected to each other. These online stores have general reference books, a tree of categories, products, brands and common management using admin panel. Besides the content of each site is individually adjustable by simple marking the desired category.

The main goal of the project is making it easy to select and purchase goods, ensuring simplicity of navigation, establishing maximum speed for accessing the pages and surfing from page to page, etc. Product suppliers can sell goods at different stores. A complete cycle is available beginning with either manual adding of the product to the database (or store) or import from the ERP (in case ERP integration is available), to selling, delivery, viewing reports and analyzing sales with OLAP and DataMining.

Soho contains virtual office with the set of full-functional tools for running business activities and conducting inter-communications. SOHODESCRIPTION

The main challenge of QArea team is the development and implementation of the new project’s architecture. The developed architecture supports the principles of scalability (web-farm, database clasting and distributed data).

To ensure stable and efficient work under heavy loads we have used the stress testing. QArea team has delivered the recommendations on the project’s structure in the case of load increase.

The presumed number of commercial social network users is over 1 million. The recommendations on hardware technologies in enhanced number of the users were elaborated and delivered to the client.

QArea team has developed the broad-based media-server. The developed commercial social network performs the simplicity of adding new web-sites to it.

The project is documented on RUP system. Most of the project development and implementation is realized on SOA (Service Oriented Architecture). Agile is used in some independent parts of the project.

Summary The solution is a multilingual online community to be used by runners as an ongoing site.

DESCRIPTION

The system displays the map via Google MAPS API interface where any user can create running routes, specify their complexity and landscape, view the information about the race participants, the total length of the route, as well as the amount of calories lost, calculated in accordance with the athlete's speed and weight.

Any user can see public routes of the other users and clubs, as well as the best results. The system allows a new user to find the most suitable club for his or her particular goal, be it weight reduction or victory in the marathon.

The system allows for assigning different roles to the site visitors: anonymous user, registered user, running club member, running club administrator, and the site administrator.

Registered users have more possibilities than anonymous users: they are allowed to join clubs, create routes, runs and invite other users to run.

Most of the site functionality is realized with the help of AJAX technology, which allows to avoid flicker and reloading of pages, as well as reduces the time of server response.

Easy Scout Mobile ExpressDESCRIPTION

This application is intended for American football coaches as addition or substitution for Easy Scout Mobile application which allows user to input data about the game and then analyze it on PC. Game is described by many parameters. User fills some data input forms and data is stored in Access database on device and after synchronization with PC it is stored in Access database on PC. Initial application was implemented in VB, it had many big-sized forms and was difficult for using in real-time game conditions. Easy Scout Mobile Express application has reduced and optimized user graphic interface, datagrids are used for quick browsing game records, sort and filter features are provided. Easy Scout Mobile Express application can be used together with Easy Scout Mobile application sharing the same database on device which can be easily synchronized with PC database then.

Signature Capture ApplicationDESCRIPTION

Application that captures signatures via a Pocket PC client and synchronize them with SQL Server through a web service.

The projects were written in VB using the .Net Compact Framework and they were intended for using in a training class. Data on the client was stored in SQL Server Mobile Edition. The database layout consisted of 4 fields - ID, Name, and Date & BLOB. Records were created on SQL Server with an ID (auto increment) & Name only.

The client application downloads any records without a date to the Pocket PC database via the web service. The client application provides a list of the names which can be selected in order to bring up a one field signature form. Once the signature is captured and stored in the client database it is given a date/time and no longer displayed on the client. The next time the device is synchronized pushes up the signed records (also purge from client) and bring down any new records that do not have a date. Capture signature is stored on client as vector of key points, then server part draws signature based on this vector and stores it in JPG format.

Poker Animation ControlDESCRIPTION

Create a C#-based control which animates the sequence of actions that take place during a poker hand. The control can be used to "replay" hands that are obtained from on-line hand history files. Control gets input xml file with Hand description, parses it and creates Hand object. Within this Hand object is a list of players and an ordered list of actions. The control will be used in conjunction with a separate VCR style control to allow the user to step through the actions. Sample application was created for testing and demonstration purposes

The software provides control for the Healthcare organization . The system consists of two logic parts, one of which is developed for the managers and the other is for the staff of the Healthcare organization.

The Staff Part involves shaping units menu control modules, the function of binding the order to the location of its execution (e.g. a table in case of a restaurant), to the client; credit allowance, order management, usable interface for the employees. The access to the software is granted according to the role and admissive level of an employee thus enabling to control the access and the staff interaction. The system supports the Bar Code readers for an effective stock accounting and discount cards operation; printers like TM-T88III Receipt Printer in order for sending orders to execution (e.g. to the kitchen in case of a restaurant); Touchscreens for quick service.

The Manager Part enables to control, track and adjust the system and all the personnel activity aimed at effective control of the Healthcare organization
