I believe our media product would most likely be an independent release as it was a low budget

production without a stellar cast.

By releasing a film as independent it does not mean it won’t reach a global audience or be as successful.The Revenant (Alejandro G. Iñárritu) for instance, is an independent production, one that I drew inspiration from when creating our thriller opening with the forest scenery and long establishing shots, as well as the true story behind it.

Despite being an independent production, The Revenant was very popular among viewers, with regular screenings upon its release showing high demand

Furthermore reviews on IMDB give it 8.1/10 a very high review.

Seven (David Fincher) is another independent thriller which gained a global success due to it’s entrancing plot with an even higher 8.6 IMDB review.

This is another favourite of mine which I drew inspiration from with the whole idea of a well thought out series of crimes. I also liked the idea of John Doe (the criminal) having his finger tips shaved off and bandaged in order to not leave any traces; we incorporated this to our own antagonists costume.
