304, 316 or 2205?Although not visible to the naked eye the variance between different
grades of stainless steel lies in its composition. As steel is naturally
corrosive, different elements are added to make it stainless. The industry
standard for interior use is a 304 grade stainless steel. In comparison
316 stainless steel contains 2% molybdenum to make the material
more resistant to corrosion caused by cracks, tension and pitting. For
outdoor use we normally recommend 316 grade stainless steel as the
tougher composition gives better resistance in these harsh environments.
However, for swimming pools and coastal areas, stainless steel 316 is
not always the most suitable material. This is why Q-railing is the first
to provide you with a product range in stainless steel 2205. The higher
nitrogen content and other trace elements of this duplex stainless steel
mean that it is even resistant to aggressive effects of chlorine, salts or
high humidity.
The key word with stainless steel is that it is stain less but not completely
corrosion-proof as is commonly thought. We recommend that you
should treat the entire structure with Q-ultra-clean as soon as it
is installed to clean away any harmful residue.Repeating this on aregular basis will ensure long-lasting perfection.

and reinforces the protective passive layer.
Q-cleaner A stainless steel cleaning spray that removes stains
and enhances shine.
Scotch-Brite Polishing pads to remove scratches.
Protection and prevention.

In places where a
glass railing system
must be able to cope
with a heavier load,
the Easy Glass 3kN
profile is the perfect
solution for you. This
profile absorbs a side force of 3 kN on the
glass without any problems. As with the Slim
profile, this profile has a water drainage sys-
tem and the Safety Wedge assembly system.

Mod: 6903 - mounting profile for fascia mount.
Easy Glass Evolution makes purchasing effortless as we have combined all the parts you need for a 2.5 m
length into one easy to order pack. Every unit can be adjusted both sideways as well as in height. In addition,
the variable plastic inserts help to ensure effortless installation of glass panels for thicknesses between 12.76
and 21.52 mm. Take particular note of the unique glass spacers that form a solid bridge between the front
and rear of the profile and also ensure an equal distance between the glass panels eliminating the need for
continual measuring. All of this helps to ensure the easiest of installation! Installation time: 2 to 2.5 hours per
metre.
