Web, Intranet & Hosting / Internal Audit Agency (IAA)
The first part of the assignment involved the
Identification, Analysis and Evaluation of the
Business and Management Information System
requirement of the client.
A Website based on the Microsoft Dot Net
Platform Was developed. It was made up of
Microsoft SQL Database 2005 on a windows
2003 server platform with .NET 3.0 and
extensive email components. An intranet portal
based on SharePoint 2007 was developed and
integrated to the company network and made
accessible remotely for ease of collaboration,
document sharing and workflow.

Website Development, Hosting and Support / UNFPA Sierra Leone
We were contacted by the Country office of
the UNFPA in sierra Leone having seen the
impressive design of the country office of
Ghana.
The UNFPA had mandated all country offices to
develop comprehensive web portals to
showcase their activities and programs.
We managed to develop the website in under
1month, host it and train the resource persons
on the management and update of the website
completely without having to send personnel
over to sierra Leone as the agency was under
tight budget and schedule.
CASE STUDIES
Mobile App Competency / People of Ghana
We ventured into the mobile application
development space with our first proof of
concept app for the general public.
A searchable Android based Constitution of the
Republic of Ghana.
This application provides the user the
opportunity to search for certain keywords
within the constitution and is provided with
the list of sections and chapters that hold the
information required making it easier to use
and find relevant information easily.

WEB HOSTING AND SUPPORT / GOV OF GHANA
The Ministry of Information’s website is the Mouth Piece of Government on the Internet. As such, there is high request for pages which translates
into huge bandwidth consumption on a monthly basis. Consuming no less than 60gigabytes
of data monthly, the previous local ISP hosting the website could not handle the traffic which
led to the website going down periodically.
PROWEB Solutions was contacted by the Ghana Information Communication Directorate to
Setup up hosting space and upload files to Host and Support the Ministry’s web presence.
As a norm, PROWEB lived up to its expectations presenting the Ministry with its Cluster server
technology that handled the website with no interruptions till it was handed over to the newly
created authority, National Information Technology Authority (NITA).
We are happy to have powered the Ghana Government Official Website for 2years (www.ghana.gov.gh)
