KALINDI BYE-PASS PROJECT

being planned by PWD, Govt. of Delhi

Project Features

• The proposed Kalindi Kunj road is located in south eastern part ofDelhi connecting from Maharani Bagh near Noida toll bridge toBadarpur border

• This bypass is planned to decongest National Highway-2 (NH-2)and to alleviate the traffic of ring road

• Based on preliminary alignment plans, the project road is 14 km

Background • The need of this Project was identified long back and

work on ground was also started in 2006

• A solution for the clogged DND interchange and ringroad section is required.

• Kalindi bypass is the bypass of NH-2 from Ashramchowk in Delhi to Ballabhgarh in Haryana. It startsfrom Ring road near DND flyway and terminate atBorder near Faridabad via Kalindi kunj (Road no-13A)

• It will also share the traffic of Road No-13A (KalindiKunj-Sarita Vihar) which make the smooth trafficflow near Border area.
