The genus is native to Africa, and is common in South Africa’s Cape Province, the mountains of tropical

Africa, and neighboring areas such as Madagascar, the Arabian peninsula, and the islands of Africa.

The APG III system (2009) places the genus in the family Xanthorrhoeaceae, subfamily Asphodeloideae. In the past it has also been assigned to families Aloaceae and Liliaceae or lily family. Members of the closely allied genera Gasteria, Haworthia and Kniphofia, which have a similar mode of

growth, are also popularly known as aloes. The plant Agave americana, which is sometimes called “American aloe”, belongs to Asparagaceae, a different family.

Most Aloe species have a rosette of large, thick, fleshy leaves. The leaves are often lance-shaped with a

sharp apex and a spiny margin. Aloe flowers are tubular, frequently yellow, orange, pink or red, and are borne, densely clustered and pendant, at the apex of simple or

branched, leafless stems.

Many species of Aloe appear to be stemless, with the rosette growing directly at ground level; other varieties may have a

branched or unbranched stem from which the fleshy leaves spring. They vary in color from grey to bright-green and are

01 Decide final color palette02 Final Brand Name03 Revise logo (graphic part of logo) 04 Combine Graphic + Final Brand Name = Final logo design05 Final label design 06 Think of more inside packaging design / shape studies07 Apply label / logo to shape studies 08 Think of outside packaging box idea 09 Keep researching / contact people around that does packaging printing 10 Start designing brochures11 Start designing others ( shop items, inte rior design, promotion items)12 Think of Product Ad concept ( Both Print Ad, Commercial Ad)

01 Logo looks like a bug / wing / However the second logo is on a good direction. Need to revise them in more organic and natural way. If my company is to be a high end, then it should be looking very minimal / simple. (elegant looking)

02 The four colors are very much the same. They are very similar. If I am going to use those colors, I need to revise them to distinguish them more.

03 How many products are you going to create? Need to think about it.

04 Do you need a outer box for the cosmetic packaging? If so, what design?
