Hiring ProcessTo thrive in a food business you need a chef who is passionate about food, focused and with an inner fire in him to motivate staff under him to perform better and offer quality service. Given the explosive growth in the number of restaurants and a corresponding demand for experienced chefs, chef recruitment is not easy for restaurateurs and hotel owners. If they do it on their own it is an expensive, time consuming process. We will make sure that the chef chosen for our restaurant would be really passionate about Indian Cuisine.

Our Staff must have the following qualities

1) Performs any combination of following duties to maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition: Sweeps and mops floors.

2) Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.3) Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.4) Steam-cleans or hoses-out garbage cans.5) Sorts bottles, and breaks disposable ones in bottle-crushing machine.6) Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand.7) Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor

to dishwashing machine.8) Polishes silver, using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.9) Holds inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces.10) Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of hand

truck.11) Sets up banquet tables.

The interior is decorated with metal work that is painted in a way to reflect the culture on the streets of India.

One of the main goals of Punjabi by nature is to offer an accessible and affordable authentic dinning experience. The food is based on clean, simple flavors that won't leave you with a greasy, overloaded stomach. There will also be a kid's menu that has been kid-approved! The space is intended to provide a lighthearted atmosphere that showcases the Indian-American fusion style. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating so that your Indian street food may be properly enjoyed on the streets The owners wish to capture the fun experience of encountering a new culture in an affordable and lively environment that is close to home and worldly at the same time. Financial GoalsWe anticipate using 3% of sales for advertising and improvements each year. This money will be used for billboards, print advertisements and a message board, all of which will be designed to develop and increase public awareness of Punjabi by nature. We will also be spending some money on the restaurant ambience. With the improved parking, lighting, and general appearance of the building, We hope to transform the building into a comfortable eating establishment for residents, as well as a unique destination for visitors to California. By providing a quality meal, in a clean establishment, served quickly and efficiently, these customers, will tell their friends about the pleasant experience they had at Punjabi by nature. The potential for nationwide exposure is tremendous.

Our Inspiration

It's some 1700 years since the worldly sage, Mallanga Vatsyayana wrote his epic Indian tale of love... Punjabi by nature. Written in ancient Sanskrit, (for the eyes of the ruling elite only), it's a doctrine dedicated to the celebration of love.Having studied it from every angle (purely for culinary inspiration!), we realize the words are, in fact, a metaphor for "the love of food". Our culinary team has stayed true to the actual origin of each dish.
