B?C 2here a headman, ho is personally responsible for more than half the landrevenue of an estate or of the sub#division thereof, in respect of hich he holds office, hasmortgaged his holding and has delivered possession thereof to the mortgagee, and the office ofheadman has become vacant in conse3uence thereof, the mortgagee may. at the discretion of!ollector, be appointed as headman.

B4C On the termination of any such transfer, farm or attachment, as is referred to in sub#rule B&C or on the release of any such mortgage as is referred to in sub#rule B?C, a headmanappointed under this rule shall cease to hold office, and a ne headman shall be appointed ithreference to the considerations enumerated in rule &6.
