I learned a lot of things on this trip, I did water PH tests ,and measured the depth and tempt of the water. This was a really

great trip, we saw many fishes and sea water animals. The girls in this picture from left to right are Cearah,Kawehi,

Tiara(me),Alohilei,Mary,Emma and Lindsay. That water is really cold!

This is Keola, a native of Ka'u. She was very spiritual and taught us a lot about preserving the environment and old Ka'u.She died one week after our visit.

My Kupuna Keolalani also called aunty Keola taught the students of VSAS to

malama and care for the land. She also told us stories of my ancestors of old

Hawaii.
