Classwork• Today you will read statistics about the U.S. Latino

farm worker population. • Then you will read possible immigration reforms

and decide why this bill would be a positive or negative move for the Latino population.

• Finally you will write your own bill attempting to reform immigration legislation to prevent illegal immigrants from coming into the U.S. but to allow immigrants to have a safe and fair citizenship process. After you have written your bill, we will have a class vote to see who’s bill is passed and become our new class law.
