Site Inspections After our proper Sales Meeting the Puerto Rico Tourism Company’s Global Sales Team visited several properties, tour companies, and areas around The All Star Island. New and exciting

properties are opening in every corner as well as we witnessed the rebirth of a quaint fishing village in the

Porta del Sol area of Puerto Rico, famous for it’s bioluminescent bay as well as for great water sports,

nightlife, and restaurants.

Luxury and opulence will characterize this beautiful property once it opens it’s doors. The lobby and common areas are spectacular, and their ballrooms are perfect for any type of

meeting and/or event. The rooms are simple yet very luxurious with marble everywhere and a glass showers. All the suites have one or two balconies overlooking the beautiful sea in Condado. The 1919 Restaurant on site has already received

accolades and has been featured on the list of Best Restaurants in the Caribbean. The Condado Vanderbilt feels and looks like a 5-star property and I am sure that it will get

there once the reviews start coming in.

People can’t get enough of this hotel! The property is simply spectacular with it’s light and airy feeling when you walk through

the lobby, to the embajadores (butlers) that take care of their clients in their wishes, this property is really a 6-Star paradise. The

common areas are beautifully decorated, but not stuffy, it feels like you are at home, just like they meant it to be. The rooms are also

elegant and understated but full of fun like for example the dipping pool. The bathrooms have an open shower concept that lets you

bathe under the trees so you can feel the breeze coming in and the birds chirp. The Spa is heavenly with it’s beautiful pools, dark but

not overwhelming colors, and the tree house treatment room that gives you that feeling of being suspended like a leaf. The restaurant called Mi Casa was created by José Andrés and has been voted one

of the top restaurants in the world. The Reserve is truly a reserve in all of it’s glory!

What an AWESOME experience Toro Verde is!! We got to the place and it was even more

beautiful than I expected. The new restaurant on the second

floor of their building has panoramic views of the

mountains and you can see people zip lining from one to the

other. The food in the restaurant was spectacular with

great seafood and of course Mofongo. This is definitely a

must for adventurous clients!!! www.toroverdepr.com

Royal Isabela is one of the most peaceful golf retreats I have ever been in. The property feels like it grew out of nature with it’s non

invading casitas that actually compliment the landscape. The rooms are rich and full of beautiful wood furnishings and the open concept shower that leads to your private dipping pool is utterly relaxing. The golf

course here is 5-star and if you look for it’s reviews you will find that Royal Isabela is the

perfect getaway for any golfer!

A great spot for the eco and adventurous traveler is Turtle Bay Inn in La Parguera, Lajas,

Puerto Rico. The area has one of the three bioluminescent

bays in Puerto Rico as well as a dry forest, several keys that you

can visit via water taxi, scuba spots as well as great nightlife and seafood. The property is

very well managed and spotless. The owner/manager

Zulma is a delight and very knowledgeable of the area, and you will see her around plenty as she likes to make sure her guests are taken care of. The

mascot of the hotel is Tertelin, a little turtle that helps protect

the turtles and humans environment and landscape. La

Parguera truly is a fun and active destination for singles,

Being the oldest open hotel in Puerto Rico (1915), the Meliá Century Hotel in Ponce feels fresh and modern. With it’s architecturally rich lobby and rooms, the property transports you to the Great Gatsby era of huge chandeliers and exquisitely white rooms. The guests can choose to stay in one of the historical rooms that are done true to the original state,

or the more modern but still true to the Gatsby era. A pool on site is a welcomed addition that has been remodeled, with a lunch bar/café adjacent. Meeting spaces are

being revamped and there is a rooftop bar called Panorama which overlooks the beautiful and historical Ponce town square. The property will undergo a remodel on the coming year to modernize and update the lobby and several common areas. Ponce (PSE

Airport) has a lot to offer on the cultural side with one of the best museums in the Caribbean, el Museo de Arte de Ponce, less than 10 minutes away. You also have the

Castillo Serrallés, another beautiful Gatsby era mansion that was built by the family that created the Don Q rum. The Meliá Century Hotel also has its share of history to discover,

walk through the corridors and they are full of pictures of the family that opened and owned the hotel as well as pictures of the transformations of the property throughout

the years.

The Ramada Ponce is another great option in heart of the colonial city. It’s charm is felt throughout the hotel in his two

buildings. Some of the rooms are historical and were revamped to it’s former glory and the other building holds a more modern

take on it’s colonial charm. The hotel has a beautiful indoor garden and pool with a patio café, a restaurant called Lola,

which has been voted on of the best restaurants in the city. It is the only property in the city center that has a Casino that is 24

hours, and a parking on site as well. The Ramada Ponce is definitely an option for travelers that want to visit sites like

Coffin Island, the only Blue Flag Beach Island in the south coast, that you can visit via ferry from La Guancha, a beautiful

promenade boardwalk that is full of activities and the best fresh seafood around.

Set at the crossroads of the main highways connecting the north to the south and the

center to the east of the Island, Caguas is the place where the past, present and future of the Puerto Rican culture meet. Come and

Another beautiful property that quickly became a favorite amongst travelers as well as the media is the St. Regis Bahia Beach in Rio Grande. The beachfront

property is nestled between a beautiful valley. The golf course and club is top-notch and the landscapes are unforgettable. The rooms at the St Regis are

stunning with soft colors and that right touch of opulence that is not overwhelming. The common areas as well as the spa have the same approach color wise, but are full of modern touches like the beautiful chandelier hanging in the center of the lobby. The “backyard” is a special spot off the main library where people can sit and watch the waves break in the shore, or just lay in the grass and enjoy the clouds. Kids will be more than busy with the Iguana Kids

Children’s Club, that offers a wide range of engaging and adventurous activities for children ages from 5 to 12, with treasure hunts, outdoor games, arts and

crafts, pool time, and kayaking exploration among many others. The St. Regis can be great for couples, golfers as well as families and singles that want to

relax!
