Quarterly FOG Inspections
Monthly Inspection Totals/Failed Inspection Comparison
Fifty-One (51) inspections were completed this month, and of those, four (4) businesses
failed their inspections. A reduction in the number of failures each quarter will ensure the
protection of our wastewater mainlines and prevent SSO’s from occurring.
One hundred ten inspections were completed this quarter. As we move in to next
quarter, we have multiple new restaurants opening that will be added into the
inspections list.

Public Works Inspections
Wastewater Update
Public Works completed 182 inspections in the month of September. Prior to
Development Services issuing a Certificate of Occupancy, Public Works cameras the
sewer service, inspects the right-of-way, the sidewalk, and Town maintained
improvements.
Staff continues to inspect and perform maintenance on manholes and wastewater mains
throughout Town as requested by the EPA. This acts as preventative maintenance to
ensure lines are in acceptable condition and not in need of repair.
The Wastewater Department continues to clean all the lift stations once a month to
reduce pump failure and reduce backups.
Staff televised approximately 7,042.19 feet of sewer line, and responded to issues at 4221
Glacier Point Court, 4161 Glacier Point Court, 4180 Glacier Point Court, 791 Cedarlake
Drive, 841 Robison Creek Drive, 4500 West University Drive (McDonald’s), 4500
Honeyvine Lane, 2611 Bottlebrush Drive, and 811 Wright Lane.
Public Works crews have completed the new wastewater main in the alley between Sixth
Street and Seventh Street.
