PLEIN AIR PAINTING FRIDAY 31 JULY 4PM ONWARDS, FREE GALBRAITH STORE, COSSACKPAINT COSSACK FROM ITS TOP VIEWPOINT IN THIS DYNAMIC PLEIN AIR PAINTING SESSION. Under the guidance of experienced artist, David Hooper, participants have the opportunity to enjoy painting Cossack from the top viewpoint, in a dynamic plein air painting session, to further hone their acrylic and oil painting skills

David Hooper has lived in the Pilbara for almost 30 years, making the bold leap from New Zealand’s green mountains to the red ‘rusty’ plains. Originally trained as a jeweller, David has been painting for almost two decades, preferring

oils and acrylic as the best mediums.

When I look at artwork, I love to see simplicity: simple but effective. I like to see that in art - something that looks easy, but at the same time, attracts the eye, and takes you to ‘that happy place’.

Capacity unlimited - participants to bring their own equipment i.e. easels, stools and painting supplies.
