PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR BIDS NORTH DAKOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS BIDS FOR construction of a 6,440 square-foot pre-engineered steel maintenance storage building at Edgeley, ND. Sealed bids will be re- ceived by the North Dakota Depart- ment of Transportation (NDDOT) Building located on the Capitol Grounds at 608 E. Boulevard Avenue, Bismarck, North Dakota 58505-0700, until 1:30 P.M. CDT, on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, room 312, at which time and place they will be publicl y opened and read. Bids shall be sealed and endorsed “Sealed Bids for Maintenance Storage Building, Edge- l ey Section”. Late bids will be re- t urned unopened. No bid may be read or considered if it does not fully comply with require- ments of North Dakota Century Code Section 48. Any deficient bid submit- ted will be resealed and returned to the bidder immediately. Bids shall be submitted on exact cop- i es of the bid form provided in ITB. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid- der’s bond in the sum equal to five percent of total amount of bid, ex- ecuted by bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in North Dakota, condi - tioned that if principal’s bid is accep- ted and contract awarded to principal, the principal, within ten days after no- tice of award, shall execute a con- tract in accordance with terms of bid and a contractor’s bond as required by law and regulations of NDDOT. Contractors submitting a bid must be licensed for the full amount of bid, as required by NDCC Section 43-07-05.
