Media InformationAs the Chicago Bulls enter their 42nd season in the NBA and 14th year at the United Center, the team appreciates the cover-age and support from the media and we look forward to assisting you again this season. In an effort to provide a profession-al working environment, the Bulls have established the following guidelines for the 2007-08 season:

Credentials:

We will honor all reasonable requests for credentials from recognized newspapers, magazines, radio and television outlets.The only season passes that will be honored at the United Center are Bulls season credentials and NBA season credentials.Each of those credentials will admit the bearer to the United Center, the upstairs press box, press row, the press work roomand both locker rooms. However, IN ORDER TO RESERVE SEATING, MEDIA MEMBERS HOLDING SEASON PASSES SHOULDNOTIFY THE BULLS PR DEPARTMENT IF PLANNING TO COVER A GAME. Individual single-game press and photo credentialscan be secured for accredited media members by calling the Bulls Public and Media Relations Department no later than 5:00p.m. the day before a game (by 5:00 p.m. Friday for a weekend or Monday game). Single-game passes can be picked up atGate 3 1/2 on the northeast corner of the United Center.

Credentials must be visibly worn in the United Center to assure proper access to designated areas. In all cases, season andsingle-game passes are non-transferable. Any unauthorized use will subject the bearer to ejection from the United Centerand the forfeiture of the credential.

Press Work Room:

The press work room is located on the service level in the northwest corner of the United Center. Working media with validcredentials will be allowed into the press work room. The work area is equipped with photography rooms, electrical outlets,phones and wireless Internet service.

Services:

A pre-game meal will be available in the press work room at a charge of $6.00. Prior to the game, the media will be provided withgame notes and programs. All statistical services including play-by-play, quarter statistics, halftime and final box scores andpost-game quotes will be distributed at all press seat locations. Fax service is also provided before, during and after the game.

Locker Room:

In accordance with NBA policy, the Bulls’ and visitor’s locker rooms will be open to the media up to 45 minutes before thegame and 10 minutes after the end of the game. Only working media with a valid credential will be admitted into the lockerrooms. Still photography is not allowed in the locker rooms at any time. Media members are also prohibited from using cellphones inside the locker room. The Bulls’ locker room is located on the north end of the service level, while the visitor’s lock-er room is located adjacent to the press work room.

Photographers:

A single-game credential will be issued to accredited photographers from large-circulation Chicagoland daily newspapers.Photographers from other newspapers or magazines wishing to work specific games must request single-game passes.Freelance photographers needing credentials must submit a letter indicating a specific assignment from a publication.

Post-game Interviews:

Please be sure to list THREE choices for radio and television post-game interviews. This will ensure an interviewee in case thefirst choice is unavailable.

Autographs/Personal Cameras:

No autographs of players or coaches are allowed. Personal cameras and camera phones are prohibited.

Neil Funk returns for his 17th season as play-by-play announcer for the Chicago Bulls ... prior to hisBulls assignment, he served as the announcer for Philadelphia 76ers games on WPHL-TV for four sea-sons ... was the recipient of an Emmy award for his broadcasting in 1989 ... he began his career in 1971announcing University of Illinois basketball and football and Danville Warrior games (MilwaukeeBrewers farm club) on WITY Radio ... his first NBA stint was in 1976-77, when he broadcast the Sixers onWIBG radio ... he then moved to Kansas City, where he announced Kings games ... while serving as the

Bill Wennington begins his fifth season as color commentator for all Chicago Bulls radio broadcasts ...served as a mentor and Coordinator of the Bulls’ player relations program for three years (2001-04) …was sideline reporter for FOX Sports Net Chicago during the 2002-03 season ... a 13-year veteran ofthe NBA, spent six seasons with the Bulls (1993-94 through 1998-99) including three WorldChampionships … a native of Montreal, Canada, Bill was also a member of the 1984 and 1992 CanadianOlympic Teams … recently inducted into the Quebec Basketball Hall of Fame and the Canadian

United Center Building InformationIn 1988, Jerry Reinsdorf, majority owner and Chairman of the Chicago Bulls and William Wirtz, owner of the Chicago Blackhawks,formed a new partnership to create an arena that would take sports into the 21st century.

The United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks, is the largest arena in the United States. Constructionbegan in April of 1992, and the building officially opened its doors on Aug. 18, 1994.

Since its opening, the United Center has hosted over 200 events each year. Some of the events the United Center has been proudto host include: the 1996 Democratic National Convention, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Barbra Streisand,Bette Midler, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circuses, Disney On Ice, the Big Ten BasketballTournament, the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament and the NBA Finals.

The United Center has hosted over twenty-nine million guests since it opened in 1994. Since 2005, in accordance with the ChicagoClean Indoor Air Ordinance, the United Center is a smoke-free facility.
