Graduation Rates – Employment & Continued Education A.S. Accounting Technology
Each year, each of the 28 Florida College System institutions are required to report student
outcomes to the Florida Department of Education. This data includes information on program-
specific graduation, employment, earnings, and continued education rates. The source of this
data is the Florida Education and Training Placement Information Program (FETPIP), which
provides follow-up statistics on students. The data reported lags two years behind, but is
collected in a consistent manner and can be located online at: http://smart-college-
choices.com/
Assessment: A.S. Accounting Technology
Each program develops learning outcomes, targets, and measures annually. As part of
the outcomes assessment, each program analyzes and provides findings related to each
outcome, target, and measure set forth. The findings indicate whether the target related
to a particular outcome and measure was either: met, partially met, or not met. In 2014-
2015, the AS in Accounting Technology program either met or partially met each of the
outcomes and measures.
