• Align and appropriately fund the development and implementation of education, training, and resources necessary for public health to be truly integrated into local, state, and national health information infrastructures.

• Fund novel, challenging, paradigm-threatening demonstration projects.

• Need to develop a training program that bridges current disciplines that spans public health, information, statistics, and epidemiology.

• Improve the knowledge base and use of public health informatics and integrate it at all levels in LHII and NHII.
