In a multi airport/terminal environment dis-plays are installed in serveral locations and controlled by a local server.

All local servers obtain their data from a central master server which distributes all relevant arrival and departure information from its database to the local servers. The information is entered and changed from a Data Manager workstation connected to the master server.

In case of communication errors, the local workstation can be activated and used to change the local passenger information for this location only.

Intended for integration in existing or new enclosures, totems,

furniture or walls, the CHASSIS-Series of Public Displays allows

full customisation of the final product.

Depending on the application, there is a multitude of criteria to be considered.

Examples are the use of different panel types and sizes depending on the actual place of installation, the selection of the appropriate display electronics, either for connection to external PCs or other equipment or fully integrated solutions. Secondly, there is the actual “mechanical” integration of the display device, if required a dust & moisture protection, heating or cooling of the final product.

unit avoiding the ingress of dust and moisture, of course combined with a resilient design

protecting the display against vandalism and tampering.

For applications with limited space, where conventional format displays cannot be used,

we offer so-called Stretched Displays with an aspect ratio of 4:1, equalling the top half

of a usual 16:9 format screen.

» The stretched format displays, available as INDOOR and OUTDOOR version, are ideally suited for installation in low passage ways, above or next to doors, in baggage handling systems, parking garages, at bus stops, etc.

In addition to the technical features and functions of the flat-screen, the entire design had to perfectly blend in with the stylish furnishing of the information suite developed for BMW’s European dealers.

DESIGnED FOr THE AUDI SHOWrOOMS. Very futuristic screens giving the impression of a super-wide format rather than the conventional 16:9 format. Most eye-catching design element is the glossy black front glass. A special project requirement was an extremely slim casing. The solution chosen for the realisation was a rather unusual way of integrating the display electronics: side-by-side with the TFT-panel.

INFORMATION DISPLAY BOARDS

Information board installed at Turkmenbashi Airport in Turkmenistan.

For this application six Narrow Bezel Displays have been integrated in a design housing. The combination of stainless steel with a glossy black front bezel creates a unique, very stylish impression.

Two Super Narrow Bezel Displays integrated in a very straight-forward housing. From a distance, the almost frameless displays give the impressi-on of a seamless display area. Eco-friendly, the static part of the information board, so to speak its header, is printed on the board’s frame rather than using displays for this purpose.

The boards are situated at the check-in islands in Terminal 2. Segmented in 4 x 4 screens, they show the details of the next 56 flights. The screens used are 47inch (119cm) Narrow Bezel displays with sunlight readable panel.
