PTCI a part of Guymon Elementary Land RunThe gun fired at high noon, and families with covered wagons raced toward free plots of land to call their own. It happened in 1889 to settle lands in Oklahoma Territory, and Guymon fifth graders reenacted the historic event May 2.

Families made up of Guymon elementary students had to run from the starting line to a plot of land, pull their stake, and take it to claim the deed to the land. Students also participated in a fishing tournament, tug-of-war, and egg toss, and PTCI was there to cover it all for PTCI’s YouTube channel. PTCI also cooked hot dogs for part of the kids’ lunches.

Five ways to simplify your tech life1. Shut down your phone: Is your

phone acting laggy and slow? It probably needs to be shut down for a few minutes. Shut down your smartphone for about 10 minutes at least once a month. The restart cycle helps your device health.

2. Use a cloud service: Use a cloud-based storage option like TechHome’s FileHopper to orga-nize and back-up your pictures, videos, and other data.

3. Go Bluetooth: If you’re tired of messy cables, consider going wireless. Wireless keyboards, mice, and earbuds all perform just as well as their wired counterparts—but without the hassle.

4. Stop paying for music: Try a free music streaming service like Pandora. Type in an artist in Pandora, and it creates a cus-tom station for you that plays your favorite artist and similar music.

5. Use Night Shift or the blue light filter: Enable Night Shift on iPhones or the blue light filter on Android devices to reduce eyestrain and protect your eyesight.

Call 580-338-2556 and talk to a representative about TechHome so you can organize and back-up your data with FileHopper.

Change is stressful—Streaming Care can helpPTCI’s TV service is ending June 30, 2020, and many customers are choosing to stream TV as a cost-saving alternative. But changing from traditional TV to streaming TV can be stressful. Streaming TV offers many advantages over traditional TV, and PTCI’s Streaming Care makes the process of switching worry-free.

PTCI’s Streaming Care includes over-the-phone and onsite support. You’ll gain peace of mind knowing that local experts are on-hand and ready to help you with your streaming devices and services. If you’re streaming your favorite show and something goes wrong, don’t worry. Pick up the phone and give us a call. We’ll walk you through a solution. If the issue isn’t resolved by phone call, we’ll send someone over to assist you.

Streaming Care is only $3.50 per month, and streaming services cost a fraction of cable TV’s price. By ditching traditional TV, you can save tons of cash without missing the con-tent you love.

Change can be stressful, but Streaming Care ensures that you aren’t alone through this transition. If you’re beginning to think about cutting the cord, make a list of the channels, shows, and other TV content that is important to you, so it is easier to compare which ser-vices best fit your needs. As part of Streaming Care, we can also help you choose a service that suits your TV-watching preferences.

If you have any questions about Streaming Care or would like more information about our Streaming Workshops, give us a call at 580-338-2556, or visit one of our stores.

Outstanding Customer Experience Award

They analyze the data they collect and compare it to data from similar companies around the country. To be selected for this award, PTCI had to achieve a high overall satisfaction rating.

It is humbling to receive this award. Serving our customers is an honor and a privilege because you are also our friends and neighbors. It’s because of you that we have received this award.

Pivot Group first offered the Outstanding Customer Experience Award in 2017, and we intend to provide you with the best service possible so that we can share this same great news with you next year.
