University of Parma Satellite Workshop to XIX Congress of ISPNE

This workshop is designed to review arid update the major advances made in the last decade, with a particular focus on the endocrine patterns produced by the physiologically and pathologically aging brain. Topics include the role of membranes and receptors in neuroendocrine function with age; physiological aging and psychoneuroendocrine control of pituitary secretions; stress and hormones; and pathologically aging brain and pituitary hormone patterns (Alzheimer type and multiinfarct dementia, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, depression, and memory impairment).
