We have a moral obligation to help all students reach their full potential as workers, as citizens, and as human beings.

Page 21: PSU Graduate School of Education

Graduate School of Education Leading, Learning, Life Changing

We need to markedly alter the way learning occurs in our schools. That transformation will require a new commitment to research, to professional preparation, and to ongoing professional development.

Page 22: PSU Graduate School of Education

Graduate School of Education Leading, Learning, Life ChangingTransformation is Within Our Reach

Page 23: PSU Graduate School of Education

Graduate School of Education Leading, Learning, Life Changing

Transformation is within our reach when we see diversity in our student population and English Language Learners as an asset rather than a burden.

Page 24: PSU Graduate School of Education

Graduate School of Education Leading, Learning, Life ChangingTransformation is within

our reach if Congress can reach consensus for students. …and put more resources in education research to match the political rhetoric about research-based practices.

Transformation is within our reach as Oregon reinvests in education from preschool through graduate school

PSU’s Graduate School of Education holds four accreditations: NCATE, CORE, CACREP, and NAEYC

Page 27: PSU Graduate School of Education

within our reach when policy and business leaders join hands with education leaders across the age spectrum to address our challenges and opportunities.
