Q. Is this insurance?

A. No, the Prescription Savings Club is not insurance. But it can be used by those who don’t have insurance, or people purchasing a medication that’s either not covered by their plan or whose co-pay is higher than the club price.

Q. Why are Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE recipients excluded?

A. Federal and state laws prohibit persons enrolled in a publicly funded health care program from participating in this program.

Q. How does the program work if I have insurance or other drug discount cards?

A. The Prescription Savings Club cannot be used in conjunction with other prescription drug insurance or discount cards on any one purchase. If the Prescription Savings Club has a lower price than your insurance, co-pay or other drug discount card, the club price will be used in its place.

Q. How long before my membership is activated?

A. If you enroll at the store, your membership is activated immediately. If you enroll online, your membership is active within 24 hours. You’ll receive your permanent card in the mail within 14 days, and can begin using it to earn and redeem bonuses.
