What is a description?
• A summary of your project requirement– e.g. “I am looking for suppliers of fruits and vegetables
on a daily basis to Birmingham city centre for my smoothie shop. Seasonal varieties in lots of 2Kg to 50Kg considered.”

Why are descriptions important?
• The description is of crucial importance to identify the most appropriate suppliers. It is one of the next most important pieces of information after Category
• You will have selected a product or service category from over 10,000. This is a fixed piece of text
• The description is free text where you can explain in more detail your specific needs and any particular detailed requirements that the supplier needs to know

How to write a description?
• The description should be clear and to the point• Your key criteria and requirements should be
included• There is plenty of opportunity within the Kopiki
