Identify high transaction – high IO VMs

In vCenter, create software snapshot. Hold VM in queisced state for 10 mins then delete snapshot. High IO VMs will take a significantly longer time in the snapshot deletion / reconcile phase.

Organise high IO VMs in separate data stores

Recommended for Application performance

Also enables hardware snap strategy for data protection without consuming too many snaps per data store

Separate Protection Policies for large VMs

Partitioning into different polices or methods may be best way to balance
