About Us:The Library Foundation of San Diego County was established by the Library Friends of San Diego County to provide lasting financial support for all of the branches of San Diego County Library.

Mission Statement:To prudently use every donation in support of San Diego County Library.

• 33 branches and 2 bookmobiles, all equipped with free computers and WiFi access

• 11 million items checked out each year

• 10 branches open seven days a week

• 24,000+ free programs each year, including literacy tutoring, homework help, and aid with resume preparation

• 5.6 million visits each year Tax Benefits:

A gift to the Library Foundation of San Diego County can provide substantial tax savings* to the donor, which in effect reduces the cost of the gift.
