    Lean Manufacturing Principles 

    The principles of Lean  manufacturing and thinking, provide a 

    method to specify and add "Value"  while combating "waste",

    referred to as " Muda " (The Japanese word). Waste is the result of

    the over use of any resource required to  produce a  product or

    deliver a service. Waste  is also identified as idle time where no

    value is being added to a product or service.

    1) PG Diploma in Lean Six Sigma The course duration is one year. The first 6 month is Six Sigma black belt course and other  6 month Is Lean Expert. 

    The candidate can appear the web based examination after first month and before the

    end of six month for the first semester. 

    For the second semester the examination can be taken between Eighth and twelth month.

    The time & location is as per the convenience of the candidate. 

    The exam consists of 100 multiple objective questions and candidate should get 

    Minimum 50% marks to qualify in the examination. The duration of each examination is 3 hours.

     After clearing both the exams the candidate will be awarded with PG diploma in Lean Six

    Sigma. 

    The candidate should make his own arrangements to attend the examinations whichare Web based

    If the candidate desires to write the exam after one month of registration and before the end of Sixth month, he can appear the exam and get certification after qualifying the

    examination. 

     After clearing of exam the candidate will be certified as trained Lean Expert. After completion and submission of the project the candidate shall be awarded

    as Certified Lean Expert. (The project should comply with the Lean flow, application oftools). 

    The candidate should make his own arrangements t o appear the examinations whichare web based

     After successful completion of training, assignment and exam the candidate will be awarded with Master Black Belt.
