We Belong to the World

Yet all experience is an arch wherethro’ Gleams that untravell’d world whose margin fades For ever and forever when I move

I learnt these lines of Tennyson as a school student and have never forgotten them. Decades later, they continue to hold their value everyday for my students, my teachers and me, as we strive to seek, attempt and achieve at DPS Greater Faridabad.

DPS Greater Faridabad is a young school, having commenced its functioning on April 22, 2013. Our enviable strength of almost nine hundred students in the very first year of our inception, was a hearty testimony of the trust reposed in us by our students and parents. Today, the DPSGF family comprises of over 3300 students partaking sound and wholesome education from Nursery to Class XII.

The session of 2018-19 has been historic for us with our first batch of class XII posting a truly stupendous result. With anxiety transformed into jubilation, we are stronger than ever in our belief that our personalised student attention, our positive attitude, our academic vigor through competent teachers and readiness to give our whole self to our students has stood us in very good stead. It’s a pleasure and pride to become a fully function Senior Secondary School with capability to drive on the aspiration of every stakeholder.

We call our students ‘dipsites’- a term that stays with them their whole life and is globally recognized as being a repository of values of strong character, humanism and skills.

We are

• technologically relevant with a progressive infrastructure that is adding new facets to facilitate holistic learning.

• creative in interpreting academic curriculum and supporting its transaction with experimental learning.• rich in exposure to pursuit of performing arts, sports, environment conservation, community service and

student leadership.• student - centered with very caring and supportive attitude.• proficient as a team of competent and well qualified educators.• determined to seek out opportunities for students to lead, be opinion makers and change designatories

at school and in the community.• keen collaboratiors with several international schools in Egypt, UK, Lebanon, Denmark for online activities

on Child Rights and Sustainable Development Goals.• actualizing rich opportunities for student exchange with Egypt, France, Denmark, Japan and UK.• recipients of outstanding awards such as International School Award by British Council, Atal Tinkering Lab

“With hand in hand, We walk besideBuilding happiness in our stride –

Hurdles and puddles - we cross over To walk an extra mile.”

We, at DPS Greater Faridabad, endeavour to build a strong foundation for our little ones in The Little Wonders Wing through high quality care, a well-equipped campus, an activity oriented and fun-filled environment, as a happy child is an enthusiastic learner. We aim to promote confidence, unleash creativity, build positive self-esteem and inculcate life skills in every child, through our daily interaction. We would like our students to be joyful learners, blazing, new trails and opening new doors. We are confident that our dipsites will have a strong foundation to achieve these goals.

Congenial environment, limitless craving to learn, standing tall and confident is what we assure our well aware students of Generation X. Students are provided with opportunities to expand their horizons and be proud members of the fraternity of their school and the citizens of their country.

Every students’ journey at DPSGF is fuelled with core academics and a co-curricular programme alongside social-economic learning, peer-peer mentorship, teacher student advisory which are in sync with global education systems. Our goal is to achieve the vertical limit of every students potential for growth.

Our story begins with our dedication to students and seeing them succeed in an ever-changing society. We believe in the age-old tenet ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ – the whole world is one family. Transforming this belief into reality, DPS Greater Faridabad is constantly engaged in offering our students the global exposure that will create citizens of a new world order. The international exchange programs for the school to countries like Denmark, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, etc., act as the perfect antidote to the rising racism and growing prejudice that is corroding humanity from within. Our faculty is young at heart and mature in handling academic responsibilities with ease. The tiny tots come to us with dreams in their eyes and step out of the school with the skills that help them fulfill their goals and vision. As administrators, we have the opportunity to lead a vibrant school that is fast making its mark in the ever-growing world of academia!
