SUMMARY:
The report includes a Geological Survey as required by The Ministry of Northern
Development and Mines for assessment work purposes.
The report includes an introduction to the property, property history, general geology,
field observations and conclusions based on the field surveys.
Technical data is provided at the hack of this report. Field data is \,;umpiied on the
8 accompanying plan maps K14/2006/geo, found in the back of this report.
INTRODUCTION
GEOLOGICAL SURVEY ON THE
KARAT-14 CLIFFORD TOWNSHIP
LARDER LAKE MINING DIVlSIN DISTRICT OF COCHRANE, ONTARIO
4
There is 1 block (fourteen units) in the group. Claim 4209407 is located in Clifford
Township, Larder Lake Mining Division.
On June 3, 2006 a Geological Survey of the K-14 group was started (4209407). The
K -14 Group has an extensive new east/west grid from the winter and spring of 2006. For the
plJTp(l~ of this report the 200G "'linter grid, claim posts and claim lines were used as tie-in
points for creeks, ponds, outcrops, vegetation boundaries and glacial eskers for this survey.
There are two small outcrop showings in the block of 14 near and the north/west 400meter
claim line post (west of the number 2 comer post) and the west boundary claim line (between
the #3 and #4 comer posts) along the Esker Provincial Park boundary and the claim block.
Geological Survey was contracted out to Miss Wendy K. Weller.
All drafting and contouring and report writing was done by Miss Wendy K. Weller.

LOCATION AND ACCESS
The Karat Fourteen Group is found in the north central half of Clifford Township,
east/west of Highway 672.
The Karat Fourteen Group is found in the Larder Lake Mining Division, and they are
within the jurisdiction of the Kirkland Lake Resident Geologist. Access is from Kirkland
Lake towards the east for 13 kilometers to the Harker-Holloway road (Highway 672). Follow
672 north for 34.4 kilometers.
PROPERTY HISTORY
At present time, the Karat 14 Group is a new block of unpatented mining claims that is
presently being worked on by Tiger Gold Exploration Limited.
May 26,2006 Magenetometer and Electromagnetic Survey of K-14 (North section)
REGIONAL GEOLOGY
The Clifford Township, is underlain by Archean Volcanic Suites belonging to the
Abitibi Subprovince, Superior Province of the Canadian Shield. The volcanic rocks are
intruded by a variety of related mafic to felsic stocks sills and dykes. Later Precambrian
dykes of diabasic composition and texture trend in a north-westerly, northerly or northeasterly
direction and have filled in along pre-existing structures (see Jansen, 1975 and 1978).
The general area can be defined as being bounded on the south by the Larder Lake
Fault and on the north by the Destor-Porcupine Fault, both regional, east-west trending

structures along which are major gold mining camps such as Timmins, Harker-Holloway,
Kirkland Lake, Virginiatown and Val O'or. A major east-west trending synclinorium is
present between the two faults. The younger Blake River Group is flanked on the north and
the south by rocks of the Kinojevis Group. The southern contact between the two groups is
much more structurally affected than is the northern contact.
Rocks of the Kinojevis Group are to a large extent composed of iron tholeites. Such
iron-rich composition is reflected in bands of high ma,gnetic susceptibility alternating with
bands of lesser magnetism. The weaker zones of magnetism outline sequences of sediments
and/or calc-alkaline volcanics. The contact with the overlying Blake River Group can be
defined from air magnetic data, however a zone of vertical gradation up to a mile wide mayor
may not be present. Subtle magnetic variations which may represent economical1y significant
features (Kimberlite pipes or alteration zones) can easily be masked within the Kinojevis
Group.
Blake River Volcamc Rocks are composed of calc-alkaline minerals. Massive and
pillow flows occur in sequence with pillow and pyroclastic breccia and lapilli and ash tuff.
Chemically they represent rhyolite, dacite, andesite and basalt. Rocks of the Blake River
Group underlie the base metal camp of Noranda, Quebec. Eastern Clifford and Ben Nevis
Townships have several base metal showings as well as relatively more bed rock exposures
then has the Elliott Groups.
ECONOMIC GEOLOGY
For the Blake River Group, a megacauldron has been defined which occupied what is
now the central part of the Blake River Synclinorium. Within such a large feature, the sense
of vent vs.proximal vs. distal positioning becomes rather vague. The three will have
completely inter-fingered with each other through time. In general, base metal deposits form
in proximal to vent areas. Stratiform gold deposits are likely to be found in distal regions.
Clifford Township is known for gold occurrences, they are located along margins of
alkaline rocks (Jensen, 1978). Alteration is present in shear zones, and fractures which
contain quartz, epidote, calcite, chalcopyrite, pyrite and specular hematite.

TOPOGRAPHY
The claim unit covers fourteen mining claims. Highway 672 crosses the south/west
section of the group. The topography of the area ranges from flat black spruce swamp to the
south/west. In the north/east section one very deep long narrow (northeast/southwest) glacial
esker is located east of highway 672. A large drainage creek crosses back and forth on PL 000
from the Baseline to 075E, this large creek crosses the entire south west section of the grid
(between the 400 meter and 500 meter mark of the picketlines). All drainage creeks and
beaver ponds along the creek system are encompassed by glacial eskers and large alder
swamps. The creeks and beaver ponds are part of the drainage system for the Magusi Basin
to the south/east. There are many small timber access roads crossing the block on the
nurth/east end of the b'fOUP.
The relief over this block of claims does not exceed 30 to 40 meters. Over three quarters of
this group is part of the Munroe Esker System, (sand, bJfavel and till).

GEOLOGICAL SURVEY
OBSERVATION OF FIELD RESULTS
A-Pillow Lava Deposits (2b) within the magnesium-rich sequences are of basalt
composition.
Description: Dip angle 182 debJfees - 180 debJfeeS
Fresh face- dark to light green
Weathering colour - dark green
8
Salvages - ranges from I inch to 2 inches in thickness, quartz filled with
epidote stringers, pillows tightly packed together, locally phenocrysts of plagioclose
up to 1-2 cm. in dimension are concentrated in the pillows outer limits.
~Flow Top Breccia /Pillow Breccia (2c) within the magnesium-rich sequences are ofbasaIt
composition.
Description: Colour - dark b'Teen to black, Weathering colour - dark brown, fine grained,
intense fracturing - 55 degrees to 58 degrees
Irregular patches of epidote with spider quartz stringers, non mab1Jletic
CONCLIJSIONS:
At present time the new north/south grid is being completed for the purpose of running the
mab1Jletometer and electromagnetic surveys over targets from the winter program.. When all
information is completed a stripping program is being considered for the small outcrop
showing in Hl~ K-iO Group.
