SHORT DESCRIPTION:I am student of 3rd year B.Tech of Electronics Engineering in Veermata Jijabai TechnologicalInstitute,Mumbai,India .I am a guy who loves programming and have vast experience inalgorithm developments .I help other programmers by writing programming tutorials inMatlab,OpenCV(C and C++ libraries)on my blog and by giving them useful links and updatesabout robotic activities on my facebook page.

Known Operating systems:Windows,Ubuntu

Known Computer Languages:C,C++,Javascript,HTML

Experience with Computer Languages:

1)C and C++:

I have good experience in programming in C and C++.

I have worked with OpenCV(C and C ++ libraries for computer vision) and write tutorials on thesame on my blog.

I have studied HTML,CSS and JAVASCRIPT at Junior college level.

I have designed webpages with Javascript,HTML.I have designed my blog with HTML.Theme

was provided by the blog site but I edited it and made more user friendly and customizable for

me.

Project Interests:

I am interested in 3 ideas given on idea page as following

1)Tux typing -Improve Input Method (IM) support for Asian (and potentially other)

languages:

Why this idea?

I am more interested in this idea as I come from country where people speak many languages to

express their views.

When I visited the Tux Paint site known issues I came to know that it is having problems to getinput of particular language where multiple keystrokes or stresses are needed to type one

alphabet. (SF.net Bug #3153689)

So I want to improve this input method for these languages.

Why should I be chosen?

I am familiar with some Asian languages particularly Indian languages like

Hindi,Marathi,Gujrathi,Urdu etc.So programming to take input for these languages will becomeeasy for me.

Alongwith these Asian languages I am interested in Chinese, Japanese, Korean languages inputmethods where multiple keystrokes are needed to type one alphabet.

I am familiar with Unicode, character encodings.

I am also slightly familiar with git and build systems.

Goals:

Primary Goal:Improve Input Method (IM) support for major languages like Chinese, Japanese,Korean,Hindi,Greek etc.

Secondary Goal:Improve Input Method (IM) support for other languages likeMarathi,Gujrathi,Urdu etc

I am very passionate and positive about this project and will love to work at any time.
