About ICIIP - 2019 The area of Imaging Science and ImageComputing has grown enormously in thepast decade with wide ranging applicationsencompassing multiple disciplines ofComputer Science & Technology,Information Systems, Information Theory &Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Cognition,Cybernetics, Medical Sciences, Mathematics,Physics and Psychology. It is primarilyconcerned with the process of Imagegeneration, Visualization, Structuring of largereal life image data and Analysis forclassification, prediction based on machinelearning, behavioral analysis andvirtualization. From the perspective ofcomputer science and informationtechnology, the subareas of ImageProcessing, Computer Vision, Image security& forensics, Pattern recognition andComputer Graphics form the core areas andthe Fifth International Conference on ImageInformation Processing (ICIIP 2019) is beingorganized by and being held at JUITWaknaghat, Solan, H.P., India duringNovember 2019, will cover all of thesecore areas. This time, theme of theconference is ‘Image Processing in SocialMedia’.

About JUIT Set up by Act No. 14 of 2002 videExtraordinary Gazette notification ofGovernment of Himachal Pradesh dated May23, 2002. The University commencedacademic activities from July 2002 withundergraduate B.Tech. Degree programs inElectronics & Communication Engineering,Computer Science & Engineering, InformationTechnology, Bioinformatics, and CivilEngineering (from July 2003).

The University is offering M.Tech (Electronics& Communication Engineering), M.Tech(Computer Science & Engineering), M.Tech(Computer Science & Engineering[Information Security]), M.Tech CivilEngineering with Specialization in a) StructuralEngineering, b)Construction Management andc) Environmental Engineering), M. The University is offering Ph.D.inBioinformatics, Biotechnology, CivilEngineering, Computer Science & Engineering,Electronics & Communication Engineering,Humanities & Social Sciences, Mathematicsand Physics & Materials Science.
