26th March 2013 – 1st April 2013 I believe that I have been put on this world to make a change to someone else’s life… Someone who is less fortunate than I am. To begin, I must mention that this climb is going to be one of the biggest challenges I ever had to face in my life… Mental and physical fatigue, altitude sickness, major headaches, disorientation, loss of co-ordination, minus 15 Degree Celsius are some of the serious issues I will endure and have to overcome over the 7 day hike reaching the summit at 5,895m above sea level.. WhAT CAN YOU dO? Well, if you support my climb up the mountain you will be doing a number of things: Supporting research into where the fluoride hotspots are, supporting local health workers to identify people affected, developing micro-desal and other methods for local people to remove fluoride from their water sources, providing life changing surgery to children most affected, supporting health initiatives in Tanzanian school exchanges with the UK and Australia, and helping local health education initiatives.
