PAGE 2 = Brief

The London 2012 Olympic Committee is planning an advertising campaign to encourage businesses to support local schools in the run up to the 2012 Olympic Games. The concept will help raise achievement in school sports by providing equipment, coaching and improved facilities. The campaign will involve distributing promotional DVD’s to businesses who may wish to participate. The committee requires a prototype of a display stand which will both promote the cause and house a quantity of DVD’s. The display stand will be situated at petrol stations and/or airport departure lounges.

It is thought that drivers will pick up a copy of the DVD at participating airports and petrol stations. Even though most of the content is online, many people would not remember the Web address

I intend to design and make a display stand for the London 2012 Olympics Committee. The stand will be eye-catching and will house a quantity of promotional DVD’s. The product will be aimed at middle-aged business people of both sexes.
