OBJECTIVES

� To recognize at the national level the accomplishment of local entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence in their business and contributed to the economic development of Brunei;

� To enhance the entrepreneurial spirit of local entrepreneurs to become more competitive and proactive in

developing and strengthening their business;

� To establish a 'benchmark' at the national level to local entrepreneurs to compare themselves against industry

peers;

� As a 'platform' for award winners to compete at international level, and

� To provide awareness to the public on the important role played by Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) as

well as their contribution to Gross Domestic Product as the main engine of economic diversification.
