Project Proposal Presentation The Project: The project is a chamber orchestra concert given by a brand new chamber orchestra in the CBSO Centre. The concert is being organized by brand new production company, PB Arts. This concert is going to be a springboard for both the orchestra and the production company, which will both eventually diversify into corporate entertainment. The concert is taking place on Friday 27th March 2015 at the CBSO Centre. The programme will consist of: St. Pauls Suite Holts E Major Violin Concerto Symphony No.44 Haydn The Money: We are asking for 500 towards the cost of the project. Why We Want The Money: The money will allow us to: Hire the BMI for rehearsal (Necessary due to the conservatoire booking system)

o The projects nature makes intensive rehearsals more practical and also produces better results o The Conservatoire doesnt have the space available to facilitate such a rehearsal o Alternatives are too far out of the city centre to make it impracticable.

Have a Larger publicity budget (to gain a larger audience) o This will allow us to hopefully gain a larger audience producing a much better atmosphere during the concert.

Facilitate the hire of additional musicians o David conducting and leading makes this necessary o Limited musicians o Allows us to have Zchivco and Liz, something which will ad greatly to the project. Increasing quality and making things such as intonation easier due to larger sections. o Smaller strain on conservatoire resources o People being paid are more reliable

This clearly shows a deficit on the overall project. We are asking for 500 as this will hopefully plug the funding gap and allow us to spend a little more on adverting allowing us to hopefully sell more tickets and therefore make less of a loss.
