Abhyudaya distributed N95 masks, kashaya powder, and Sanitizers to Thalaghattapura Police station, Kaggalipura Police station, Hulimavu, Bannerghatta, and Puttenahalli police personnel.

Abhyudaya distributed N95 Masks and Kashaya powder to BBMP pourakarmikas at Veerabhadra Nagar, Avalahalli and Deepanjali Nagar, Bengaluru. A workshop was also conducted to educate them about Covid precautions and how to use the kashaya powder.

Abhyudaya distributed N95 Masks to AGS layout BBMP pourakarmikas. The distribution drive was supported by Goodshare and around 1400 masks were distributed.

India BIS approved high quality N95 masks distribution drive at Uttarahalli main road was carried out. Around 23 BBMP drivers and 25 pourakarmikas were given the mask.

Volunteers from Abhyudaya distributed N95 masks and kashaya Powder to ensure safety and health of civic workers at ward 53 Siddhartha layout Mysore. Around 32 mcc pourakarmikas were thanked for their service to the nation. Volunteers Bellur Laxminarayana, Paneendra Bellur, Chidhambara, and Manu aiyappa were present. Ravi Shankar- MCC Senior Health Inspector, and Sandesh- Health Supervisor were also present. The program was organised with guidance from Dr Nagaraj ,Chief Health Officer Mysore.

Team Abhyudaya distributed N95 masks and kashaya Powder to 30 pourakarmikas of ward 37 Raghavendra Nagar, Mysore. The civic workers were appreciated and thanked for their contribution to keep the city clean. MCC workers who work day and night, under the burning sun as well as the winter spells were appreciated by Abhyudaya. They were also informed about how Abhyudaya can help their children by way of free coaching, scholarship, and career guidance. Shri Ravi Shankar- Ward 37 senior health inspector, Shri Faruq - Health Supervisor, Shri Lingaiah- Masthery, and Sri Durga were present. The program was organised with the support and guidance from Dr. Nagaraj Chief Health Officer, Mysore City Corporation.

N95 masks and kashaya powder to boost immunity was distributed by Abhyudaya volunteers to BBMP workers at JS Dinney BBMP, Bommanahalli.

Mathing - the Vedic way! The sixth and the seventh batch of the Vedic mathematics sessions were conducted in November 2020. These were followed by the eighth and ninth batches in December. The sessions recorded 118 cumulative participants who were also awarded certificates on completion of the course.

Channelizing the nation’s potential Career orientation program was conducted by Sri Chandrasekhar Shetty, founder of CAPS foundation.

Students were encouraged to explore avenues such as Chartered Accountancy and other professional courses. PUC commerce students and B.com students interested to pursue CA attended and gained valuable insights.

Illuminating India, Idea by idea

Aiding the un-aided The 10th batch of Vidyanidhi, Student Education Scholarship Program to the underprivileged and deserving students was organised on December 6th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Jnanagiri office. Vidyanidhi was awarded to Students studying in various courses including High School, Pre-University (PUC), and Bachelors in Engineering, Science, Commerce as well as MBBS courses.

Fostering scientific temper STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) based Training is a global effort to empower students and adults to create, innovate, tinker and make their ideas into reality. Program was implemented with the support of REPCO Home Finance. The program aims to reduce dropouts, promote scientific thinking, and improve the quality of education at Government Schools.

Proposal for a better tomorrow Abhyudaya presented a proposal for increasing the use of cycles, Metro, and walking in Anjanapura ward to support sustainable mobility.

Desperate times; Disruptive measures Covid-19, with all the havoc it has caused, has extended an opportunity to Abhyudaya to serve the needs of the society beyond education. Mothers of our students who have lost jobs in garment factories were provided with sewing machines to earn their livelihood.

Honours and Laurels We have been awarded the prestigious GuideStar India’s Transparency Key award for 2021 and have joined India’s largest pool of credible NGOs after undergoing a rigorous due diligence process.

Guide Star India’s Transparency Key is the Foundation Level certification indicating that the organisation has filed annual income tax returns as a tax-exempt entity and has shared the same in the public domain.

Bridging the Infrastructural Gaps With learning moved to virtual medium, the dearth of infrastructure and access to it has been brought to the forefront.

A smartphone was gifted to Vinod from Kanakpura village and Roji Mohara. Vinod is pursuing BSc degree at Vijaya College and a UPSC aspirant. Roji Mohara is doing her BBA at Silicon City College. We thank Rohit of Budli.in for supporting the online education of socially deprived students. We are also indebted to Ripu Daman Bevli, known to people as Plogman of India for connecting Abhyudaya to the donor.

Championing the SDG goals Activities of Abhyudaya are in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) by the UN and we identify our efforts with 13 of the 30 goals of SDG. We do extend our gratitude to Prateek Kumar Naidu for the opportunity to attend a webinar and we also thank Dr. Shalini Rajneesh Additional Chief Secretary, Planning Department, and Government of Karnataka for her guidance.
