The Architectural Firm of Record is DOH Architects, Wenatchee, WA. References throughout the Project Manual requiring submission to the Architect will instead be submitted to the Construction Project Manager for consideration. The Construction Project Manager will consult with DOH as required and as necessary.

Item 2: Contract will contain the following language regarding prevailing wages.

The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in Okanogan County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The “Effective Date” for this project is the Bid Proposal due date listed on the Advertisement for Bid. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found on the Department of Labor and Industries website located at http://fortress.wa.gov/lni/wagelookup/prvWagelookup.aspx.

B. Project 16-B: Exterior work includes development of a vacant 100 ft x 100 ft paved, fenced and lighted Vehicle Storage area on 1ST Avenue South and Rose Street in Okanogan, Washington. The project includes earthwork, storm drainage CB/DW with filters that rest on top of a drainage rock fill (Bidder Designed), steel Bollards with electrical outlets for vehicle engine heaters, chain link fencing with vehicle gate, pedestrian gate and manually locking gate.

A. The undersigned further agrees that the check or bid bond accompanying this proposal is left in escrow. The escrow amount is the measure of damages which the Owner will sustain by the failure of the undersigned to execute an Agreement for the Work in the form stipulated in the Bidding Documents, and furnish the required bonds, and that if the undersigned fails to execute said Agreement and deliver said bonds within 10 days after written Notice of Award of the Contract to him has been received, then the check shall become the property of the Owner, or the bid bond shall remain in full effect; but if this bid is not accepted within 30 days after the time set for opening bids, or if the undersigned delivers said bonds and executes said Agreement, then the check shall be returned to him or the bid bond shall become void.
