COMPUTER SOFTWARE

Computer software, or just Software, is the collection of computer programs and related data that

provide the instructions telling a computer what to do. We can also say software refers to one or

more computer programs and data held in the storage of the computer for some purposes.

Program software performs the function of the program it implements, either by directly

providing instructions to the computer hardware or by serving as input to another piece of

software. The term was coined to contrast to the old term hardware (meaning physical

devices).In contrast to hardware, software is intangible, me aning it "cannot be touched.

Software is also sometimes used in a more narrow sense, meaning application only. Sometimes

the term includes data that has not traditionally been associated with computers, such as film,

tapes, and records.

HISTORY

The Apple I, Apples first product. Sold as an assembled circuit board, it lacked basic features

such as a keyboard, monitor, and case. The owner of this unit added a keyboard and a wooden

case. Apple was established on April 1, 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne,to sell the Apple I personal computer kit. They were hand-built by Wozniak and first shown to

the public at the Homebrew Computer Club. The Apple I was sold as a motherboard (with CPU,

RAM, and basic textual-video chips) less than what is today considered a complete personal

computer. The Apple I went on sale in July 1976 and was market-priced at $666.66 ($2.55

thousand in 2010 dollars, adjusted for inflation.)

2005-2008 THE INTEL TRANSITION

The MacBook Pro (15.4" widescreen) was Apple's first laptop with an Intel microprocessor. It

was announced in January 2006 and is aimed at the professional market. At the Worldwide

Developers Conference keynote address on June 6, 2005, Steve Jobs announced that Apple

would begin producing Intel-based Mac computers in 2006. On January 10, 2006, the new

MacBook Pro and iMac became the first Apple computers to use Intel's Core Duo CPU. By

August 7, 2006 Apple had transitioned the entire Mac product line to Intel chips, over 1 year

sooner than announced. The Power Mac, iBook, and PowerBook brands were retired during the

transition; the Mac Pro, MacBook, and MacBook Pro became their respective successors.

PRODUCT

IPhone

At the Macworld Conference & Expo in January 2007, Steve Jobs revealed the long anticipated

iPhone, a convergence of an Internet-enabled smart phone and iPod. The original iPhone

combined a 2.5G quad band GSM and EDGE cellular phone with features found in hand held

devices, running scaled-down versions of Apple's Mac OS X(dubbed iOS, formerly iPhone OS),

with various Mac OS X applications such as Safari and Mail. It also includes web-based and

Dashboard apps such as Google Maps and Weather. The iPhone features a 3.5-inch (89 mm)

touch screen display, 4, 8, or 16 GB of memory, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi (both "b" and "g"). The

iPhone first became available on June 29, 2007 for $499 (4 GB) and $599 (8 GB) with an AT&T

contract. On February 5, 2008, Apple updated the original iPhone to have 16 GB of memory, in

addition to the 8GB and 4 GB models. On June 9, 2008, at WWDC 2008, Steve Jobs announced

that the iPhone 3G would be available on July 11, 2008. This version added support for

3Gnetworking, assisted-GPS navigation, and a price cut to $199 for the 8 GB version, and$299

for the 16 GB version, which was available in both black and white.

SOFTWARE

Apple develops its own operating system to run on Macs, Mac OS X, and the latest version being

Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard. Apple also independently develops computer software titles for

its Mac OS X operating system. Much of the software Apple develops is bundled with its

computers. An example of this is the consumer-oriented iLife software package that bundles

iDVD, iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes, Garage Band, and iWeb. For presentation, page layout and word

processing, iWork is available, which includes Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. ITunes,

QuickTime media player, Safari web browser, and Software Update are available as free

downloads for both Mac OS X and Windows. Apple also offers a range of professional software

titles.

IOS 7/ PURPOSE OF PROJECT

IOS 7 is the seventh major release of the iOS mobile operating system designed by Apple Inc. as

the successor to iOS 6. It was announced at the company's Apple Worldwide Developers

Conference (WWDC) on June 10, 2013, and was released on September 18, 2013. IOS 7

includes a redesigned user interface and numerous functionality changes. Ios7 has their own

capabilities and it has some issues from the customer such like battery dying, installation, map

and few technical. We our project team will work in project to solve and modify the specific

product and make it finish by 6 month duration.

PLANNING

Our software planning specified in three major categories which include redesigning, modifyingand user friendly. Apple always make their software with high quality user friendly as we find

their previous softwares. Our redesign planning we want to make some new changes in apple

ios 7 such like maps, operation system and software features. We would like to provide some

new apps which will be our competitive advantages. Our redesigning fully control and manage

by highly skilled software engineers to make best. Farther more our problems which we come

through this project we want to modify the software usage on battery which now an big issue our

aim to fix the problem and also we would like to make the software applicable in all applehardware which will make great value to all customers. Our division of work totally divided and

manage perfectly. We control and monitor the software in each stages. At the least our company

image in user friendly software which we would like to make smoother for customer in term of

gaining their satisfaction more. Apple always make their software planning more precisely which

always examine and testified in every drafts.

MARKET DEVELOPMENT

Apple ios 7 is different invention by apple Inc. even though ios 7 having some issues which can

be solve. Our main aim to develop market for IPhone 5s and 5c which still upcoming in the

market. Our project are mainly determined to create effective market for iPhone users, as the

market is dropping with customer complains, we intend to solve the ios 7 defaults and make

updated ios 7 for the customer. Which will help iPhone 5s market demand high. IOS 7 which

released for all apple users for specific phone and devices such like 4s, iPad 2 will create value

among those customers. Our project will make greater demand in market for the users and also it

will create more value for upcoming apple devices. Our project assumption it will increase the

apple market share in worldwide market.

RISK DETAILED

When you go public with a new product, the obvious risk is to your reputation. If the product

gets a negative response from the media or the public, it could affect other successful products.

You need to be prepared to manage the impact of negative reviews or public opinion. No matter

how good the product is a negative response is always a possibility. Your risk assessment

management procedures should prepare you for this scenario.

The risk of legacy for apple applications needing remediation. The analysis phase of theapplications will determine the level of risk this poses. It is believed that the only modifications

that would need to be made to any application will be associated with the new versions of the

software, which are minor changes. However, should testing identify remediation to the

applications, there could be significant impact to the project and its timeline.

shows some lacking though we manage to cover up with perfect time schedule. We can saw our

after it launches in market. Software can bring great success among the world market. An

understanding of these that can help us in designing and modifying our software. New product

analysis refers to a mandatory procedure which all companies must go through before the launch

of their newly developed product. The analysis takes into account every detail of the software

with respect to the research; required material for new idea and the sales and market factors. The

existing software analysis helps to gauge how the product can be bettered in terms of both

design. This in turn also helps the company become well acquainted with the old one. Our

Our project management was quite smooth. Our teamwork and professionalism help us to
