Hi Fiona,

India is incredible! There are so many different

places and things to see. So much colour.

The elephants at Jaipur were beautiful with colours

Painted over their bodies. I had a ride on a lovely

lady.

Today I visited the Taj Mahal. It was all I expected,

beautiful.

It is incredible and a beautiful work of art.

I hope you like the postcard. I will send another at

our next stop.

The Great Wall of China.

Hi Fiona,

Well this was an amazing structure, it goes on

forever over the land like a long snake.

I walked along the top of the wall and it is very

high.

Many workers died making this wall and are

buried underneath it!

I am going shopping now to buy some pearls before

we leave on the train.

Samarkand is a beautiful old city full of

wonderful buildings and mosaic work.

You can see the colourful art work in the picture.

The city was a centre for learning and study of

astronomy.

The weather is great as it is spring and I enjoyed

walking around the bazaars.

Hi Fiona,

Well I certainly am a long way from home,

St Basil’s Cathedral looks like it belongs in a

fairy tale with all of the coloured domes, its magic.

There are many strange and beautiful buildings

around Red Square.

During the train trip to Moscow I have seen some

wonderful countryside and taken fabulous

pictures.

Hi Fiona,

I am now on the last stop of the trip, in Turkey.

Istanbul is a real mix of cultures and history and I

am looking forward to visit some of the ancient

sites, especially Ephesus.

Later this week I am going ballooning over

Cappadocia, should be great.

Am loving the food.

Will be home in two more weeks.
