Why Project Fairs?
The greatest limitation for clubs for doing projects is the lack of financial resources, thus:
A Project Fair has the objective of providing financial support to
humanitarian projects through Rotarian partnerships
Project Support
• Clubs, both local and international, provide funds (in the long run, a small part of the total project)
• DDF’s from districts• Funds from TRF through GG (formerly
MG)• Funds and work from other organizations
Project Fairs in Ecuador
District 4400’s first fair was held in 2004In the first 3 years, our District 4400:
• Doubled the number of projects with MG’s• Doubled the number of clubs doing MG’s• Tripled the amount of funds provided by
TRF for MG’s By 2010, we had established support from 20
districts Currently, about half of our projects are
related to our Project Fairs
