TRIPSAs part of the services of the Tecnologico de Monterre , we are traveling abroad and within the Mexican republic, because you are at the stage where it is essential to develop certain skills that only these experiences will you , it helps you to mature and grow so physically, emotionally and intellectually because you are going to open your framework and satrt leave your comfort zone. They begin the travels from the second year of your high school .The first trip is to Mexico City and we visit the prehispanic site of Teotihuacan, is beautiful because the union among the classmates with whom they were not related and had no friendship is incrieble and amazing. We also have a trip to Washington in the third semester. This trip draws you in so many things culturally that you will be realize of many circumstances that are living at the time in the entire world and our pretty country Mexico Then we visited the White House and there is a course to take and have more knowledges. In the last year of your awesome high school , we organize for you a trip of generation in the fifth semester to New York. Where you take a lot of independence and learn to how to move across the globalization that has New York. Likewise visited the resorts as the Statue of Liberta, the UN and the Brooklyn Bridge. Also this year you can take to go back to Wachington DC the capital of US power and consolidate your vision you have with the world as well consolidate global trends. All this leaves you to be a young entrepreneur. And you already thought to where you want to go ?

Intercampus

Intercampus, as well known mong the student community, is a set of Sports competitions that gathers about 1,300 more students Rectory West Zone of the Tec de Monterrey's system.

This tournament has as main objective coexistence and healthy competition among students in different sports , which are: Basketball, tennis, swimming , soccer and volleyball . It takes place every year in different campus. This time , the host will be in our campus who will have the honor of receiving this great tournament.

In this competition, teams representing Campus Leon have won first, second and third places , proving that they are among the best and always looking to win. This year's representative in the high school category, basketball team sought to resume its leadership in the area, which was taken away by his brothers of Campus Guadalajara in the past Intercampus sheep held in Campus Sinaloa. As the girls volleyball team sought a rematch against Campus Querétaro , who snatched the gold medal in the last end.

This year the Intercampus harbored only the campus belonging to the West zone, however, from 2015 a new project of Intercampus where competition is nationwide and will face each campus every start. The first campus to receive this new idea will be the site system ; The Tec de Monterrey Campus Monterrey.

Life in TEC

A lot of people think that study in the TEC de Monterrey are going to be easy and awesome, but when the classes begin you can feel the pressure and so tire, because in 3 weeks you have partial exams and projects at the same time. When the first semester finish some students won’t continue in the school, but if you begin preparatory in the TEC, you have to finish there.

Yes, studying here is tired and difficult, but make friends older than you is a good idea because the can give you tips to survive the stress. They can tell you which teacher are cool, strict, boring, funny, etc., or help you with your projects & homework. Then when it’s your time to be the older, you can give to the “babies” all the tips.

The best to be a TEC’s student is read the funny memes’ TEC because you can laugh of all the homework that the teachers give us, you can feel identified for jokes.

This is my last year here and I never sleep well since I came to this school, the TEC is my first house before my real home. Although I tire to work all night’s on my projects, I met a good friends here and lived amazing experiences.

Tec Abroad.

What is Tec abroad?

A semester or a year abroad, you can choose between lots of places all around the world, this is for you to study and learn another culture.

You can go to places like USA, Canada, England, France, Italy, Germany, China, and others. It’s one of the best experiences that you could live, if you are studying in TEC and you have the possibility to do it, you must try it, if you can’t go a semester or a year you could go just for a month in summer and there are a lot of possible places too.

There are 4 different types of academic options that you can choose:

1. Certificate of Specialty: The university grants a Certificate in certain area of specialty. The subjects are chosen of a predetermined block by the foreign university

and it is obligatory for the obtaining of the Certificate.2. Semester of Specialty:

The block of subjects already is shortlisted by the foreign university, but a selection of subjects must be done according to the necessary number in every university.

The classes join for companions of the university, international and, in some courses, the same pupils of the Monterrey's Technological one.

3. Study Abroad: The subjects are chosen of the educational regular offer of the university

considering the academic area that understands the agreement. The classes join for companions of the university and / or international.

4. Practical schools: It is a semester of labor as practicing dip in a foreign company without

economic remuneration. The program complements itself with academic courses offered by a foreign

university.
