Participio Presente - Regulares

The Gerund is formed by adding:

-ando to the stem of –ar verbs

-iendo to the stem of –er and –ir verbs

Participio Presente - Irregulares

1. –ir stem-changing in the present (change e to i and change o to u)

2. -er and -ir verbs with stems ending in a vowel (change the i of iendo to y)

Exceptions:
