About Kingsbury

The Kingsbury Center provides a transformative educational and social experience for children and adults with learning differences.

The Kingsbury Center includes the Day School which serves students from Kindergarten through the12th grade. Every Kingsbury student is different, and we tailor learning to fit those differences. But all students have at least one thing in common: they come to us with learning challenges, such as issues with language or auditory processing, ADHD, or other challenges. Many come from school environments where they haven’t experienced success. At Kingsbury, we provide the support they need to thrive, today and in the future. Our academic standards are high, and we do everything in our power to help students succeed.

In addition to a Day School, The Kingsbury Center offers services which support the Day School, as well as children and adults in the DC Metro area. Center Services include: Tutoring; Diagnostic and Psychotherapy; Occupational Therapy; Physical Therapy; as well as Speech and Language therapy.

“A noble purpose inspires sacrifice, stimulates innovation and encourages perseverance.”
