Read Across America Day is March 2 in honor
of Dr. Seuss’ birthday! Celebrate during the
month of March by picking up a “Seuss-tastic
Reading Challenge” at the Children’s Desk
beginning March 1!
Must turn in reading record by March 31.
Seuss-tastic Celebration (All ages) Saturday, March 5 ~ 10:30am-Noon Celebrate Dr. Seuss with a storytime at
10:30 am, followed by Seuss-tacular activities,
crafts and snacks! No registration required!
American Girl
Series
(Grades K5-5) Registration is required.
Saturdays 2-3:30pm

Learn about different American Girls with crafts, games and activities. Dress-up and bring your favorite doll to join the fun. Parents and guardians
are welcome to attend with their child.

Build a cardboard car* for your child at home. Then
bring it to the library for them to sit in while they watch a movie! *Car is not required.

Let’s celebrate the kids who finished 1,000 Books Before
Kindergarten in 2015! Enjoy a storytime followed by a graduation ceremony, snacks and a craft!
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten encourages caregivers to read 1,000 books to their child
before they enter kindergarten. Reading together helps develop literacy skills that will
prepare your child for success in school.
