All workshops at Level 1, InterContinental Hotel FRIDAY 30TH JULY 2010 - 2:40 - 3:40PM SATURDAY 31ST JULY 2010 - 1:30 - 2:30PM

WORKSHOP 1 Scott Goodwin - Davenports Harbour Lawyers

Growing your system by creating bankable franchise arrangements.

In order for a franchise system to truly grow and succeed, the arrangements must be commercially “bankable” (ie solution oriented and bankable). Lawyers have a tendency to create documents which might technically be very sound but, which in terms of being “commercially” sound, are deficient and therefore “un-bankable”. We need to create fair commercial arrangements which a funder can “bank” comfortably and with confidence.
