Program FOURFor the first time ever, the RSO is honoured to welcome Grammy and Juno award winning conductor Bramwell Tovey to the stage. Maestro Tovey leads the orchestra, choirs, and soloists in Fauré’s Requiem, a moving and powerful dedication to those that came before us, and a brand new work composed by Maestro Tovey himself. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s timeless Broadway hit musical, South Pacific, presented in a unique concert setting makes an appearance in the fourth program as well as an evening celebrating the works of Tchaikovsky and Mozart. The program also includes two Government House concerts sure to leave viewers spellbound!
