    The YMCA of Northern Michigan and Meijer invite the kids of

    northern Michigan to lace up their basketball shoes, gather their

    friends and join us for a day of fun at the 2011 3 on 3 Basketball

    Tournament. Girls and boys in grades 3 and up are welcome to put

    together a team for the areas best one day hoops event.

    Meijer is partnering with the Y for the second year to host the

    3on3 tourney that draws participants from 10 counties. Meijers

    commitment of helping our community become a better place tolive, work and play, is the foundation of our partnership said Jen-

    nifer Crockett, YMCA Program Director. All the proceeds from

    this event goes toward providing Y programs for youth throughout

    northern Michigan.

    The First Tee provides programs for youth ages 5 to 17 teaching

    y-DAy CAMPTime to start thinking about summer plans! Spend your

    ays at Camp Petosega! The YMCA of Northern Michigan in

    artnership with Emmet County Parks and Recreation is offering

    summer day camp for northern Michigan communities. The

    ay camp is full of fun, educational and exciting projects, games

    nd eld trips the kids will love. Camp Petosega offers nature

    rails, sandy beaches, sport courts, grassy open areas, re ring

    nd clean indoor area for indoor activities with indoor restrooms.

    Summer Camp is Monday through Friday 9:00am-3:30pm,

    with extended care options of 8:00am-5:30pm. We offer

    0 weeks throughout the summer starting June 20th forampers 6-14 years old. Campers may sign up for as many

    weeks as t into their summer schedule. For more

    propriate training, equipment and skilled staff for his/her experience, I acknowledge that some inherent risks

    be eliminated without destroying the unique character of these programs. Because of this potential risk, the

    requires in writing notication of any of any physical problems that participants may have. I give permissionYMCA of Northern Michigan to take necessary steps for emergency medical care for my child, if warranted.

    Aware of the risks and willing to assume them, I hereby waive, release and agree to hold harmless the YMCA

    Northern Michigan, their representatives and successors for all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of m

    participation in YMCA of Northern Michigan programs. I have read the descriptions of the programs, underst

    requirements for participation, and give my child permission to participate. I assume and accept full respons

    their participation.

    I hereby grant permission for the YMCA of Northern Michigan to photograph, video, interview and display par

    projects, or portions thereof through public view on the YMCA of Northern Michigan website or for promotiona

    poses. I agree to allow my child to participate in these projects without nancial remuneration, and release t

    numbers will not be included with any information posted on the web site or for promotional purposes.
