Hope, BC

All Roads Lead to Hope BC

Now is the time to invest in Hope. At the convergence of

Highway 1, Highway 3, Highway 5, and Highway 7, Hope is

strategically positioned at BC's Highway Hub and is at the

gateway between the booming Fraser Valley and the

resource-rich Northern BC market. Approximately 7 million

vehicles travel through the community annually on these

major routes, or about 20,000 per day.

New Development Creating Retail and Commercial

Opportunity

Development Permits are on the rise in Hope, led by new highway commercial developments in 2012/13 such as Flying J

and Subway. There are excellent retail-commercial opportunities in Hope's beautiful downtown core, on the Old Hope

Princeton Way highway commercial strip, and adjacent to the Trans-Canada Highway at exits 165 and 168. With retail

lease rates starting as low as $8/sf, Hope offers new retailers affordable start-up costs with access to a large travelling

market and a growing domestic clientele.

Quality of Life

Hope is the best place in the world to live! The Hope Recreation Complex includes an ice rink with BC's best ice, a 25m

competition pool, children's pool and water features, library, and new conference facilities. In addition, new

investments in expanded community recreational amenities such as mountain bike trails, motorsports facilities, and new

trails to integrate into Hope's 63km of existing trails are planned over the next 3 years.

Personal Service, Low Costs, and new incentive programs in 2013

You and your employees’ dreams of home ownership can still be realized in Hope! A single-family detached home is on

average only $228.001 in Hope, compared to the provincial average of $418,703 (2006 census).

Work is underway to create a Revitalization Tax Exemption Program in Hope to assist your business in Hope. The

Program will create a shield for new developments, to protect them from increased assessments for a period of years,

allowing you to fully maximize the benefit of Hope's low entry costs.

CONCEPTION BAY SOUTHNEWFOUNDLAND & LABRADOR

The Town of Conception Bay South is the second largest municipality in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, second only to the capital city. The Town has a population of over 25,000, a growth rate of 13% since 2006 and is projected to continue to experience rapid growth rates in population, housing starts and income. There is now considerable potential for retailers and commercial developers to gain a competitive advantage by doing business in Conception Bay South, taking advantage of a trade area of over 235,000 within a 30 km radius.

The west end of Conception Bay South will continue with rapid growth and expansion in the residential and commercial sectors. Projections for residential growth are based upon the improved transportation network and infusion of additional capital funding for water and sewer.

Interest in the gateway has been above all expectation and we project that this development will be the new centre of commercial development for both Conception Bay South, and the region.

YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE WAITING FOR YOU

North Battleford is a thriving City in one of the best economies in North America: Saskatchewan. The future looks even brighter, with forecasts for strong retail growth and development of our abundant resources and agriculture in the region. North Battleford’s economic vibrancy has kept pace with the increasing prosperity enjoyed by Saskatchewan as a whole. The City is emerging, boasting over 5% population growth since the 2006 census. Known as “The Battlefords”, the City and sister town (divided by the North Saskatchewan River) have grown to about 18,000 residents with a trade area of 52,000 to 68,000. For nearly 100 years, newcomers have identified North Battleford as a unique area worthy of establishing commercial roots into. At the same time, they have appreciated the ease of integrating their families into the relaxed quality of life offered in one of the most scenic areas of the prairies. North Battleford is a landmark and major companies have identified our quaint City as an ideal trading location with a growing population. Situated along the scenic North Saskatchewan River Valley, the City is strategically located at the crossroads of the Yellowhead Highway 16 and the north-south Highway 4 corridor, the gateway to the resources and recreation areas of northwest Saskatchewan. The region supports a diversity of agriculture, oil and gas, tourism, public and private sector services and industry. North Battleford is the hub. Analysis of our retail market has made it very clear: North Battleford has significant potential for entrepreneurs and business expansion with a strong possibility that the current growth projections in major commercial and industrial sectors may in fact be surpassed in the coming years. There can be no doubt that global demand for the resources driving the North Battleford economy, particularly oil and agriculture, will continue to grow, ensuring a solid basis for sustainable prosperity. “If growth continues at the current rate, the retail market in North Battleford will reach $642M by 2019 -- well ahead of earlier projections of $591M. Increased oil exploration, transportation, warehousing, construction, and utilities infrastructure will continue to push population expansion and by 2015, these numbers may seem conservative as well.” Nuguru Business and Marketing Consultants Inc. December 2011 From the lifestyle to the bottom line, North Battleford is an emerging urban centre which has retained its affinity to natural beauty and community values. We invite you to join us.
