As part of corporate social responsibilities (CSR) Shovon Group ofCompanies Limited and SIPLEC are working together to enhance theenvironmental performance, based on most important 4 pillar - Energy,Water, Waste & Green House Gases (GHS) for environment activities,consist of the program with 3 level, named GSCP (Global SocialCompliance Program).

1st level already achieved and second level close to achieve.


Water Softening Plant: water treated to minimize the hardnessbefore consuming for dyeing process to reduce chemicalconsumption.


Effluent Treatment Plant: Waterreleased form the dyeing house goesto the Effluent Treatment Plant. Highlyadvanced “Elector ContaminantRemoval” plant removes allhazardous ingredients from the wastewater. Advanced aeration systemmaintains Dissolved Oxygen level inwater to its target parameters beforedischarged to sewerage.


Monitoring water consumption: To minimize water consumptionseveral flow meters are installed & the record kept periodically.


BBT system: Bus Bar Tranking system are installed to minimizevoltage drop and consumes less electricity. It is also safe fromelectrical short circuit & fire hazard.


Traditional 40 watts T8 lights are replaced by 28 watts T5 tubelights to save electricity but maintaining same lumen.

Condensed recovery system allowing torecover waste water & steam are re-using inthe dyeing process. This system helps tosave energy.
