ABEDA OTURKAR A beda Oturkar loves food and embraces all the good things it brings into our day to day lives. From preparing food for family or guests, to developing healthy recipes, to sharing her knowledge with others, Abeda is a goddess of food. Growing up in Mumbai, Abeda was surrounded by the exotic tastes and aromas of Indian cuisine and from the age of eleven kept a journal filled with her recipes and experiments with flavours. When she travelled to France and Italy she added European foods and cooking styles to her journal and has been adding to it ever since, becoming an epicurean of world cuisines. Along the way, she learned about the interconnection between healthy eating and wellbeing, and developed recipes to create delicious meals from simple, clean food. Her desire to share her knowledge and good food led to holding cooking classes and catering where she established a reputation for excellent cuisine and service. It was a natural transition to open Spice & Aroma, a restaurant she successfully ran with her family in Dubai.
