INTRODUCTION
Davis Technical College (Previously Davis Applied Technology College – DATC), has been collaborating with
businesses throughout Utah for over 41 years to provide both education and training. Today, these
partnerships are more important than ever. As Utah businesses grow and prosper, the economy is
booming; however, the lack of “skilled” workers needed to fill the ever-increasing pipeline of jobs continues
to be a number one concern. This is where the Davis Tech comes in.
This training guide, which is available both in print and in an electronic version, is only a sampling of the
training Davis Tech currently offers through Employer and Continuing Occupational Education’s Private
Training. The number of trainings will continue to increase over time, as class offerings are added to the
catalog listings.
As you browse through this content, please keep in mind that we can customize and/or add training classes
to meet your specific needs. Course objectives, lengths, dates, and times can be modified. Courses can be
combined to create exactly what you are looking for. New courses can be created and added in a short
amount of time.
I look forward to working with you to provide the training your employees need to help your business
continue to grow and prosper. If you have questions, please contact me directly at (801) 593-2205.
